An interesting opportunity has arisen in Godalming for a Project Accountant to assist with a system transfer to Epicor 10. This is a temporary role expected to last between 8 to 11 months. The role will require an immediate start (1 week notice period or less). The hours are full time, however shift patterns are flexible (7:30am to 4pm, 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm). This position is looking to pay between GBP18 and GBP22.50ph
This is a fabulous position for someone with prior system implementation work who wishes to gain supervisory experience.
The Company
You will be working within a small team with a family feel, in a manufacturing company.
The Role
You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting the accounts team.
Within this role you main goal will be to support the implementation of the new system, Epicor 10. This is an automated transactional system. Therefore, prior experience will be needed in Empirical or automated systems implementation.
Alongside this, you will also be supporting the transactional team. This will involve being hands on with the purchase ledger, sales ledger, expenses, credit control, bank reconciliation and balance sheets. Due to this you will need to be confident in an all-round role.
You will be supervising other staff members but you will not need prior management experience.
Key Requirements
• Working experience of Epicor or similar system
• Previous experience conducting system migration
• Confidently undertake all aspects of transactional accounts
• Immediately available
• Interest in a supervisory position
