DISTRIBUTION TEAM SUPERVISOR (WEEKENDS): NOTTINGHAM, UK

About the Job

Do you want to manage a team ensuring the timely despatch of products to customers whilst removing the unnecessary cost of goods from within Games Workshop’s distribution facility?

Are you excited about managing a team of dedicated individuals, ensuring that processes are improved and that people are developed? Could you delegate work effectively to your team to provide the highest possible level of service to all of Games Workshop’s customers, striving to develop Games Workshop’s European distribution centre to be the best?

Do you want to champion a continuous improvement process to provide a safe, efficient and cost-effective workplace, delivering many small improvements and understanding their impact on the big picture whilst planning effectively to implement them to defined plans?

Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager you will be responsible for ensuring effective and timely despatch of orders, building productive working relationships with other departmental managers, whilst taking responsibility to ensure that you set goals for your team, keeping score on their achievements and taking appropriate action through holding them to account.

We know that it is difficult to consistently and successfully monitor and drive daily picking, packing, and shipping efficiencies by always setting clear expectations. We know the right person will find these challenges appealing.

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work.

Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.

Other Essential Information

Working Hours: This role is to work weekends.  You will be working 36 hours per week, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6.00am to 6.00pm.

Closing Date: Applications must be received by midnight, UK time, on Tuesday 31st July 2018.
