Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager (BDM) sought by northern based award winning Voice Calling tech player.

The technology is “tailored” to the Social Housing sector – helping Landlords & Housing Associations communicate effectively with their tenants

The Role

The BDM will be tasked to achieve new business revenue targets from the UK Social Housing sector by selling a suite of proven customer contact services.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing key client relationships up to ‘C’ level.

• Working with business and technical teams to construct compelling and differentiating propositions.

• Developing detailed understanding of a customer/prospect’s business drivers, policy and political landscape.

• Developing strong business networks and recognising competitor and partner activity.

• Constructing winning, viable, commercial offers.

• Updating regular reports for internal management and Board presentations

• Updating and maintaining client information within the company’s CRM system.

The Person

• Recent experience of delivering revenue growth in a targeted environment

Recent experience of managing C level relationships for software (preferably SaaS business)

• Good knowledge of digital delivery approaches managed cloud and support.

• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.

• Strong and effective presentation skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and a sound understanding of project dynamics.

• Ability to operate in a competitive and pressurised environment.

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and operate flexible working patterns to accommodate demand.

• Ability to quickly identify with the culture of client organisations.

• Ability to think and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

·         Experience of selling into Social Housing/Public Sector highly beneficial.

In return for your sales prowess you will receive a base salary of £45,000 pa (£90,000 OTE) + Car Allowance + Benefits.
