The Key Responsibilities are:

• Driving production lines to fulfil daily customer orders in the most cost-effective way, whilst meeting the product specifications, efficient packing operation and maintaining H&S requirements on a day to day basis.
• Lead the staff on the line to deliver a quality focused and efficient packing operation on a daily basis and conduct line balancing exercises against product flow and work rates.
• Drive line efficiencies (i.e. minimise defective pack rates, minimise unscheduled downtime, minimise floor waste and etc.), maximising line speed and daily production through chairing TOP5 meetings and attending short interval control meetings daily, taking a proactive approach to dealing with line issues as they arise to ensure the line speed targets are met.
• Take a proactive approach to improving underperforming member of the team and constantly look to upskill members of the team through coaching and training.
• Ensure accurate recording of O.E.E and downtime using the Plantstats software, driving improvements in both the accuracy and results through reviewing the data throughout the shift and discussing with the team any anomalies you find.

Hours of Work:  5.45am until 3pm (40 hours guaranteed)
