Retail Designer
Retail Designer required to join a well-established and growing company that specialise in Architecture & Interiors for the Retail sector. This exciting Company are looking to bring on a talented Retail Designer with some keen creative skills for their offices near the Milton Keynes area. The Retail Designer will have a natural eye for design, in the concept and ideas side of retail design, someone with some proven experience of creative design. The Retail Designer will work as part of the design team, taking on projects sketches and turn them into clear and eye-catching visualisations that communicate the scheme to the customer, bringing their potential projects to life and within budget. The Retail Designer will be a team player, have good leadership skills, a confident communicator proactive in their approach to work, using software packages such as Vectorworks, Cinema4D and 3Ds Max and Adobe InDesign to produce the final presentation.
Retail Designer Position Overview
* Taking the leads on creation of scheme designs and developing them into robust solutions that are on brief and on budget.
* As a senior designer you will be experienced in producing hand drawn visuals - retail, instore or concessions / exhibition
* Experience in showing your ideas in loose sketches, scamping etc
* Providing design and conceptual solutions across brands for consumer engaging environments and graphical communications
* Experienced in managing stakeholders including briefing sessions, brainstorming and planning meetings, client meetings and presentations and of course follow up meetings and debriefs
* Proven ability in pricing and budgets, project estimations and activity timings
Retail Designer Position Requirements
* Degree or HND / HNC in a design related discipline
* Good with Vectorworks (preferred but not essential)
* Good visualisation skills with Cinema 4D & Adobe InDesign software
* Creative approach to your work & to finding solutions
Retail Designer Position Remuneration
* Salary GBP25k-35k DOE
* 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, (office closed at Christmas)
* Private healthcare scheme after one year's service
* Company pension scheme
* Social events calendar
