Due to continued success and business requirement this established asbestos consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to work on numerous contracts in the North East region. Applications from Newcastle, Durham, Northumberland and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be IT literate.
Be well versed with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Monitoring asbestos contractors on site ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures regarding asbestos.
Collating and producing asbestos reports.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
In general, the successful post holder will be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
