Test Engineer

A opportunity exists to join an innovative, growing business in the Cirencester area.
The position of Test Engineer has the purpose of carrying out engineering, electromechanical and other test methods where specified in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards and internal QC procedures and documentation.

Duties of the role;
- Carry out tests in compliance with specified test standards.
- Carry out certified tests within certification parameters.
- Test workmanship of products where required to provide independent verification.
- Test functionality of products where required.
- Conduct electrical tests from diagrams provided in accordance with specification and safety standards.
- Assist in fault finding where the source of the problem has not been identified.
- Work in close collaboration with QA Inspector, providing support and assistance
where necessary.
- Ensure the correct equipment is used for the correct test and follow user instructions properly to get the best result.

Requirements of the candidate;
- Previous experience of testing a range of electro-mechanical products and systems from component level through to entire systems.
- Previous competence in the use of a range of industry-standard test equipment both manual and automatic.
- Relevant engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
