THE ROLE
I am seeking an INTERMEDIATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR who is keen to train as a Claims Consultant to to join a firm in the City of London.
There will be a need for some international travel as required by the projects.
My client is working on claims and disputes for oil & gas, power, civils and building projects.
Good training given in claims and disputes for someone with a few years solid quantity surveying and who has had some involvement in claims and who is keen to progress their career.
THE CLIENT
My client is a large firm of claims and dispute resolution consultants. They have offices in the UK and abroad.
My client works on Claims and Dispute Resolution in the Building, Civil Engineering and Oil & Gas industries.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to be a Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with a few years experience gained working for a main contractor or large civil engineering or building contractor. You may also be chartered with the RICS or CIOB.
You must have gained good QS experience and ideally you will have gained at least a small amount of experience helping with a claim.
You will have good IT skills and good experience.
You will have the opportunity to progress your career and to take further specialist construction law qualifications.
Projects could be world wide so you will need to be prepared to do some international travel, mainly short term but there will be opportunities of working abroad too.
Salary is very negotiable according to level of experience plus car allowance, bonus and excellent company benefits.
