Internal Sales Coordinator / Sales Support Administrator
LOCATION: Heywood, Manchester (commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Oldham & Manchester)
JOB TITLE: Trade Sales Advisor / Administrator / Sales Coordinator
SALARY and BENEFITS: GBP18,000 plus benefits including pension and healthcare cash plan
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
THE COMPANY: We are delighted to be working with our client who were established in 1950 and since then have been supplying tools & fixings to the trade industry. There is now a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a fast growing company based in Heywood (commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Oldham & Manchester).
THE ROLE: The Internal Trade Sales Advisor / Administrator / Sales Coordinator role will be a wide and varied role but your main focus will be to effectively manage and grow accounts through customer contact. You will work with clients to resolve their issues, advise them on products, service choices and price and availability.
The role could be a mix of answering incoming calls promptly and handling customer queries, accurate order processing, responding to email enquires and orders, up selling where appropriate on product, as well as carrying out general admin tasks.
Key Duties for the Internal Trade Sales Advisor / Administrator / Sales Coordinators role :-
- Processing sales orders and dealing with customer enquiries over the telephone
- Provide price and delivery on request
- Liaising with purchasing and warehouse to ensure smooth processes
- Chase up quotes on a daily basis
- Maintain and develop Key Accounts
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Trade Sales Advisor / Administrator / Sales
Coordinators role will have the ability to engage effectively with clients and provide them with an excellent service. You must have good knowledge of tools, power tools, associated products and fixings in general and ideally have experience working in a similar role within the industry. Candidates must be extremely driven, enthusiastic, be confident with dealing with customers calmly and effectively and be capable of managing a workload in a reactive fast paced environment. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and have a polite and clear telephone manner, must have strong IT skills and must live within commutable distance to Heywood, Manchester.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Internal Trade Sales Advisor / Administrator / Sales Coordinators role :-
- Previous experience within a similar industry is essential
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A polite, clear and professional telephone manner is essential
- Must be driven and enthusiastic
- Must be able to commute to Heywood (commutable from Bury, Rochdale, Oldham &
