Salary range: £32,952 - £35,105 plus non-contributory pension.

Capel Court is an attractive supported housing scheme located in Prestbury on the outskirts of Cheltenham. We provide supported housing services for retired members of the clergy and beneficiaries of the Church of England Pension Scheme.

As Scheme Manager you will manage a multi-disciplinary team of staff including a deputy manager, a team of support workers, a catering team and a handyperson / gardener. You will also oversee the work of contractors when they’re on site. Dealing with all aspects of the day to day management of the scheme you will have specific responsibilities for staff management and recruitment, health and safety, budget setting and budget management. You will also be responsible for the provision of a daily hot lunch service for all residents as well as a breakfast and supper service.

You will need to be self-motivated and an excellent communicator. You will have excellent IT skills and will need to able to work with minimal supervision to ensure we continue to provide a high quality supported housing service to our residents. You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing services to older people in a supported housing environment. Occasional overnight attendance at meetings may be required as well as regular participation in an out of hours duty rota.
