Our Client is a leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy who
are now looking to recruit an
Assistant Ecologist for their Bristol Office.
Your role would contain the delivery of site surveys, mitigation,
reporting and advisory work. Duties to include ecological surveys,
desk study and report writing, mitigation design, site supervision,
BREEAM assessments and liaison with internal/external clients and
sub-contractors.
Required Experience
-Understanding of protected species legislation and survey methodology
required
-The ability to communicate effectively with other team members using
a variety of media
-Ecological survey, assessment and report writing experience is
desirable
-Previous experience of working with protected species
-Some understanding of the ecological requirements of BREEAM an
advantage
-The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner and
produce clear and concise written documents in English
Essential Qualifications
-Qualified to degree level, preferably to MSc level in a relevant
environmental science
-Associate or Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology
and Environmental Management preferred
