Area Fundraiser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, target-driven Area Fundraiser to join the expanding fundraising team at St David’s Hospice, North West Wales. 

In 2019, St David’s Hospice will open the first ever, hospice inpatient unit in Anglesey to serve the local patients living with advanced illnesses with palliative care services, together with their family and carers. To meet the financial demands of this, the hospice is looking for an Area Fundraiser to drive a successful fundraising campaign forward.

Person Specification

• Confident public speaker
• Experience of using CRM systems
• Full driving license and use of a car – essential
• Fluent in the Welsh language (written and spoken)
• A passion for making a difference to local communities
• English and Maths at GCSE (C or above)

Area Fundraiser Duties

• Partnering with key local stakeholders to maximise generated income
• Promoting local hospice events with the fundraising team
• Increasing engagement to sustain future support

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in enabling St David’s Hospice to deliver further palliative care services to patients living with advanced illnesses in North West Wales as the Hospice grows to meet the needs of our communities in the future.

St David’s Hospice is a registered charity that provides palliative care to adult patients in North West Wales. We aim to improve the lives of those with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, taking care of their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.
