Title: Customer Service/Retail Assistant
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Duration: Temp - To - Perm
Rate/Salary: GBP7.83 - GBP8.00 per hour, subject to experience.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.
Job description
An exciting opportunity is available with one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of high quality tools, fixing and building supplies in the UK.
This is an exciting time to join the company as they continue to expand and grow in three key areas of the business.
This role is based in Milton Keynes and they are looking for a customer focused person with basic IT skills. The role requires this person to provide first class customer support on products and services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Welcoming and greeting customers
• Advising and serving customers
• Processing payments
• Assisting customers and providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
• Ensuring all promotions are run accurately and to the company's standards
• Provide face to face, telephone and email based support to customers
• Arranging window displays
• Calls to potential customers
• Provide feedback to the relevant teams to enhance products and services for clients
• Deal with any queries with customer orders
• Respond to customer feedback
• Follow all company policies and procedures
The ideal candidate for the team will demonstrate the following attributes:-
• Previous experience of providing customer support, especially face to face support.
• Experience with Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and basic office administration tools.
• Understand that customer satisfaction is a principle measure of our business.
• Find practical solutions to customer problems with a definite can do attitude.
