The ideal candidate for this KS2 Teaching Assistant position will be a friendly graduate who has already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children and achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. It is essential for you to possess an ability to become a role model and leader of students. Ideally, the school need a graduate who can understand and relate to the problems and challenges faced by pupils. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with the genuine ambition and work ethic to become a teacher.

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant it will be up to you to lead sessions for individuals or small groups in order to boost attainment for high achievers or support students who are falling behind. This particular position will provide you with a full spectrum of classroom and pastoral duties as you move to support the school as and when required.
