Atam Academy is a Sikh faith school open to and welcoming of people of all faiths and none.
Atam is an all through Academy that caters for pupils from the ages of 4 to 18. The primary phase opened in September 2016 on the Redbridge College Campus and currently has classes from Reception up to Year 2 . Our secondary phase will open in September 2019.
As we move into our brand new, purpose built building, with state-of-the-art kitchen facilities this September, we are looking for a Catering Manager/Chef to run the in-house catering provision for our school. You will take full responsibility for planning, organising, operating and developing the catering service to ensure it meets the highest standards in terms of quality of food, service and safety.
Atam Academy is strictly a vegetarian only school and we only serve strictly vegetarian meals.
You will have experience of managing a catering service and team of staff and will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, resilience and politeness within a pressurised environment.
This post is for 37.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), plus an additional ten days during holidays to undertake routine tasks and deep cleaning.
