JOB TITLE: HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP26,810 pa (GBP12.89 per hour)
WORKING HOURS:40 hour week - starting times 5pm or 1am
25 days holiday pa plus statutory holidays
THE COMPANY: Our client are the UK's largest independent paper merchant, selling and distributing across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights to join the team in Leeds on a full time permenant basis.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights role to include:-
• Complete vehicle checks and report any defaults
• Offloading
• Reloading goods
• Ensuring health & safety requirements are adhered at all times
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of HGV Class 1 Driver - Nightss you will be friendly proactive, dedicated and flexible. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Leeds.
Key experience essential for the role of HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights:-
• Class 1 driving licence
• Experience with use of tail lifts and pump pallet truck is advantageous
• Experience of night work is an advantage
• Fork lift licence - not essential but desirable
• Able to undertake manual lifting up to 25kgs
• Flexible approach and the ability to work overtime if required
• CPC / DVQ card is essential
