An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Property Buyer to join us at our office in Enfield.

Within this role, you will successfully source residential property from the sales market that meet the required standard to be purchased, in specific areas then leased to a local authority for use to alleviate homelessness.

You will negotiate with vendors and make appropriate offers on behalf of Mears to purchase the property at best price and within the budgets for scheme(s).

In order to be successful in this role, you will have substantial experience in sales or purchasing of properties and the ability to create successful networks in the sector to support a continuing pipeline.  This role would be ideal for someone from an estate agency or property buying background.

With knowledge of health and safety issues related to rented accommodation, you should also possess knowledge and understanding of appropriate landlord, tenant and housing law.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important and you should be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills and will be able to prioritise and manage workload to deadlines.

A car allowance is also provided as standard

Candidates for this role should possess a full UK driving licence
