FULL TIME: 37 hours per week
BAND AND SCALE POINT: Band 5/6 Scale Points 22 – 29
SALARY PER ANNUM: £21,074 to £26,470

Do you enjoy problem solving; have a flair for IT and great communication skills?
We have an exciting opportunity in our System Support Team for someone who will be responsible for providing support to end users across a number of Council IT systems.
You will be responsible for the testing and implementation of software packages used by a number of services across the council including Housing, Environmental Health, Revenues and Benefits and Finance. You will have the opportunity to work on projects to implement new system functionality and to provide end support on a range of system issues to end users.
Training will be available for the successful applicant.
You will have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years experience working at a local council
- Experience of working with council IT systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision
- Proactive in seeking more efficient ways of working
- A great team player
- Highly motivated with proven experience of managing change and engaging and supporting staff through the process
