Telesales Executive - Birmingham City Centre

Non-negotiable:

  • 2-3 years telesales experience
  • Proactive and experience in a manual dialing environment
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Computer Literate (Outlook, Word and Excel)

Experience working in a start-up or smaller business would be beneficial.

OTE: GBP26,000, commissions are uncapped

KPI's:

  • Calls per day
  • Talk time per day

Team setup:

  • There is a sales team of 6 and this is growing, will report to the Sales Operations Manager. This is a family run business that started out 3 years ago and is growing quickly. Dress down fridays and they run lots of different incentives. It is a driven and exciting environment for someone who wishes to excell.

We require two Telesales Executives.

Interview process:

  • 2 stages, 1st telephone interview, 2nd face to face competency based interview with role play.

Job Purpose

We believe our people are our most valuable asset and you will be joining a team responsible for directly driving the growth of the organisation - The role of a sales executive is about much more than winning new business. It is about keeping the nations fleets on the road through engaging new clients with targeted campaigns and consultative discourse to get to the heart of their needs to provide fleet solutions that keep them moving forward.

Of course this is a sales role, so driving revenue growth is the overriding success metric - So, like all sales roles, this position comes with KPI targets and pressures to deliver sales, so resilience and determination are key. But we believe we provide a supportive and friendly environment in which we want our people to succeed.

You'll primarily be making outbound sales calls and occasionally converting inbound leads. We will set you up for success by giving you the tools needed to establish a good call structure, quickly build rapport and identify customer needs.

You will generate selling opportunities through your outbound call activity that you will then convert into successful sales. Once converted you will manage the early stages of the customer cycle to ensure a smooth onboarding process and achieve initial usage.

We will work with you to set sales targets and establish KPI expectations and then do all we can to help you achieve and exceed them allowing you to benefit from high levels of open-ended commission earnings.
