Field Service Engineer needed with strong Mechanical/Electrical machinery experience. Supporting customers face-to-face at sites across the UK. Ensuring the smooth running of a range of kit and equipment. Start ASAP ideally in July/August.

Key Skills/Experience/Duties?

• Providing field-based support for a range of Mechanical/Electrical machinery based at customer sites.
• Commissioning, maintenance, fault-finding, trouble-shooting and resolving technical issues on client kit.
• Machinery/equipment supported includes: Phase 3, 400v feed, drive belts, bearings, motors, plotters, Switches and PLC controllers (basic software updates).
• Automotive, Aerospace, Engineering, Composites, Fashion or Textiles industry experience would be helpful.
• Full ongoing training will be provided on in-house products, equipment and kit, including opportunities to train at the company HQ in France.
• Any experience of supporting CAD/CAM products would be a bonus.
• Representing customers in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Logging issues and escalating any technical queries that can't be immediately resolved.
• Providing on-site training to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment to ensure that Health and Safety regulations are met.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. Positive approach and 'Customer is King' mentality.
