Security Officer Shift Supervisor
Starting salary of £34,701.03 - pro rata basis and includes a shift disturbance payment of 33%. You will be working on a 12 hour shift pattern

At GCHQ, we work closely with other intelligence agencies to keep the nation safe. We work against unusual, complex threats – everything from cyber-attacks and espionage, to terrorism and organised crime. It means your work will be incredibly interesting, and unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.

With a welcoming personality, you’ll become the friendly face of our brand new location in Manchester. It’s all about using your excellent communication skills to put everyone who visits our site at ease. Helpful and supportive, you’ll also carry out key Counter Terrorist security measures and prevent unauthorised access to our buildings. Plus, you’ll collaborate with our partners in British Intelligence and develop our approach to security. In this Supervisor role, you’ll also motivate a team and lead them through night shifts. 

We’ll provide all the on-going training and support that you’ll need, so you don’t need a background in security. Instead, you just need experience of providing excellent customer service. And as an inspiring individual, you’ll have a background of getting the best out of your team and setting great examples.
