The Role - Medical Field Service Engineer, Radiotherapy

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a customer focused and technically motivated Medical Electronic Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, breakdown, repair and maintenance of their range of highly advanced fully networked medical radiotherapy and oncology systems at hospital and healthcare centres throughout the South East.

Your Background - Medical Field Service Engineer, Radiotherapy

Applicants will need to demonstrate a background in the service and repair of high value electronic capital equipment, gained within a customer facing field service environment. Electronic Engineers already working in the healthcare, medical imaging or radiotherapy / oncology sectors, seeking further training and increased remuneration, are encouraged to apply, along with Electronic Service Engineers from laboratory systems, semiconductor process, ex Armed Forces Radar and Weapons Systems Engineers and other complex electronic systems backgrounds. A qualification in electronics is also essential, typically to a minimum of HNC standard. Experience of networking and IT systems is also highly desirable.
