Contract Personnel are proud to be working with our award winning client to recruit a Cleaner / Hygienist for their late shift. This market leading company are located in a rural setting close to the heart of Norfolk and have developed over the years to include a sausage factory that has been in operation since 1981. The factory has achieved EFSIS / BRC Global Food Standard Higher Level accreditation consecutively since 2002 and now supplies some of the country's leading Supermarkets and Restaurant chains.

The factory has two production lines capable of producing 100 tons of sausages per week and are now recruiting for a late shift Cleaner / Hygienist to work from (Apply online only) hours Monday - Friday with the occasional opportunity to gain some overtime on a Saturday dependent on Production schedules. This rare opportunity has arisen through company growth, the successful Cleaner / Hygienist will be joining a small, but professional team already maintaining the highest hygiene standards.

The duties of the Cleaner / Hygienist will involve:

Cleaning food production rooms, machinery and equipment with the use of pressure hoses and hand padding.

The cleaning of the factory begins at 1700 hours after production has ceased for the day, but from (Apply online only) hours the duties will include:

Keeping the stores area tidy and neat,
Removing all production related rubbish from inside the factory,
Stock Control and replenishing the production area with raw materials
Keeping external areas clean and tidy

The successful Cleaner / Hygienist will receive on the job training and will be responsible for specific areas as well as assisting and supporting other members of the team. You must comply with all factory rules and regulations, be hygienic and have good eye for detail. Some lifting may be required to move machinery, raw materials and cleaning materials. This role will become permanent after the successful completion of a probationary period.
