Graduate Mechanical Engineer is required to join a growing manufacturer of components for various sectors based in the Lincolnshire area. The successful candidate will have good understanding of stress analysis ideally with FEA software experience.
Graduate Mechanical Engineering Position Overview
* The main responsibility of this position is to carry out initial draughting and extensive design to small and large mechanical components for production and plant machinery. :
* Working closely with the Research and Development Team designing prototypes and how to improve previous products to ensure future product performance increases.
* Working closely with Project Engineers and more-giving the successful candidate all round exposure to the products and company.
* To carry out FEA analysis and manage any sub-contracted FEA and CFD work.
Graduate Mechanical Engineering Position Requirements
* A degree qualification in a mechanical engineering field of study is essential.
* A year in industry or work experience in a manufacturing, or design firm would be advantageous but in no way essential.
* Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD packages such as AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor or similar is essential.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
