Deputy Site Manager

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING EXPERIENCED SUPERVISOR / SHIFT MANAGER
/ MANAGER REQUIRED TO MANAGE GROWING SITE

JOB TITLE: Deputy Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

SALARY: cGBP35,000 DOE plus vehicle & pension

LOCATION: The position is based in the West Yorkshire across multiple
sites

ROLE: Deputy Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

You will assist with the management of multiple Waste Management Sites
across West Yorkshire
You will ensure recycling and quality are maximised and contamination
is kept to a minimum
You will be responsible for ensuring company policy, environmental and
safety compliance is adhered to at all times.
You will be responsible for a team of both internal employees and
external contractors ensuring that they are operating safely and
efficiently, keeping the site tidy.
You will assist with the overseeing of the weighbridge operations and
ensure that traffic management plans are adhered to.

EXPERIENCE: Deputy Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

Previous experience in the waste management industry is essential

Man management experience essential - e.g., Manager, Supervisor, Team
Leader, Chargehand, Foreman, Shift Manager

Experience with mobile or capital plant equipment very desirable

You MUST be committed to inspiring and enforcing a positive Health and
Safety ethic within the team. (IOSH, NEBOSH or other H&S training a
real benefit)

NVQ level 2 in waste or COTC waste qualifications would be ideal but
not essential
