Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced primary teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 teacher position starting this September?
Tradewind recruitment are looking for a proactive primary teacher to join this happy and successful Roman Catholic school in Southwark. The position starts in September or ASAP in term 1, with an equivalent annual salary of up to GBP39,006.
The school itself has a long history in the local community dating back to 1879 when it was run by Franciscan monks who opened the school above a church. Since then the school has developed and expanded with a new nursery opening in 2000 and major renovations in 2013. The school is now a 'good' school with 'outstanding' outcomes for students. Children make good progress as a result of the teaching they receive, and the expectations placed on them by their teachers. The school has a strong leadership team who aim to provide an environment where children can learn to love learning and prepare themselves for the skills they will need for a 21st Century world.
The school is situated in the Dulwich area of Southwark, South East London. It is easily accessible by public transport or there is a small staff car park available plus free on street parking nearby.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a Key Stage 1 teacher to join the team.
The Key Stage 1 teacher must:
•Have QTS or equivalent qualifications to teach in the UK
•Positively support the school's Catholic ethos
•Have experience in teaching Key Stage 1
•Have good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
•Be a hardworking and committed individual
•Enjoy working as part of a team
•Show enthusiasm to raising standards and ensuring all children make good progress
•Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a strong partnership with parents and carers
•Be creative and have a flexible approach to teaching and learning
