Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Company

Brewster McBride are supporting in the appointment of a number of Assistant Quantity Surveyor opportunities for our client across the region. The purpose of the role will be assisting in the day to day financial control, reporting and commercial performance management of one or more projects from award up to final account.

The Role

• Support in the commercial control of all allocated projects including provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the reporting timetable as required by the team
• Assist the team with cash management including timely application, certification, invoicing, payment, receipts and careful administration of subcontract accounts
• Management of subcontract accounts and keep the Quantity Surveyor appraised of progress
• Driving the implementing of policies, company and industry standards and initiatives and manage contractual compliance across all projects as directed
• Site visits as required to carry out surveying duties

The Person

• Collaborate with other surveyors and colleagues in the region to develop best practise
• Form and develop effective relationships with the supply chain and wider business
• You'll be educated to degree standard in quantity surveying related programme and looking for career development in this field to develop into a Quantity Surveyor
