Jackson Hogg are pleased to be supporting a global manufacturing
business with the appointment of an experienced Site Engineering
Manager.
The aim of this role is to manage and control the group which has
responsibility for electrical, mechanical, control and instrument,
utilities and refrigeration, in order to ensure plant, building and
equipment supporting the site are maintained.
* Capital expenditure - justification and management of large-scale
projects
* Lead energy management climate change agreement and supply
contract negotiations
* Manage maintenance costs and perform budgetary controls
* Facility management
* Process improvement
* Identify and perform predictive, preventative and planned
maintenance
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading the engineering
function in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the regulated
manufacturing environments (such as FMCG/ Chemical or Pharmaceutical).
They will have solid project management experience and have
successfully led capital expenditure projects and revenue projects.
They will possess a thorough working knowledge and understanding of
pressure systems, lifting equipment regulations, CDM, Legionella,
environmental waste and asbestos regulations
