Senior Transport Planner - Leeds.

Based in Leeds, one of the UKs leading Engineering companies are
looking for a Senior Transport Planner. The ideal candidate will have
extensive experience managing projects and teams and liaising with
clients directly so a combination of consultancy and management skills
are needed. You should have good knowledge of relevant computer
software to undertake Transport modelling and be a member of a
suitable professional body.

The starting salary for this role is between GBP30-40k depending on your
relevant experience.

Qualifications - Educated to degree level with a first degree in
Transport Planning or relevant degree such as Civil Engineering. A
full driving license is essential. Membership of a relevant body would
be an advantage eg. CEng, CMILT, or similar.

Experience - 4+ years' experience in the transport planning field

Salary - GBP30-40k depending on your experience + Benefits

Working as a Senior Transport Planner your duties will include:

* Project management

* Team management

* Produce transport assessments, statements and travel plans

* Transport modelling (eg. Linsig, Transyt, Arcady, Picady)

* Financial management of projects

* Assisting Directors with liaising with key clients

* Attending public consultations
