Recruitment Advisor - Oxford
Initial 5 month contract - GBP19.00ph PAYE
We are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join a leading automotive manufacturer based in Oxfordshire.
Here you will focus on the recruitment of Future Talent (Apprentices, Interns and Graduates), so will spend the majority of your time organising and running careers fairs, telephone interviews, assessment centres and processing applications and performing selection processes for high volume external recruitment.
Due to the nature of these events some flexibility in hours and ability to travel is required; i.e. for careers fairs and assessment centres some late nights and/or overnight stays may be required.
Recruitment Advisor - Responsibilities:
- To effectively and efficiently support and carry out recruitment activities across the UK, in line with business requirements.
- To provide a timely and well organised process driven service, ensuring positions are filled in time, with suitable candidates.
- To utilise recruitment systems to manage recruitment processes efficiently and effectively.
- To support the effective and efficient running of the Recruitment and Staffing function.
- The role will be expected to perform the following activities, covering permanent, student and post graduate recruitment activity.
Recruitment Advisor - Skills and Experience:
- Organisational skills
- Experience in a recruitment related role, ideally focussing on high volume or youth/graduate recruitment
- Knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques, processes and procedures
- Understanding of MS Office and IT systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems
- Basic understanding of Employment law relating to recruitment and selection is helpful
- Proven time management skills in administrative organisation
- Ability to work in a high volume environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
This is an initial 5 month contract (until e/o December 2018) with possible extensions; on offer is a competitive hourly rate of GBP19ph PAYE with a wider benefits scheme which includes a pension and holiday allowance (adjustments available for Ltd Co contractors).
