Our Client is a rapidly growing, Automotive Tier 1 organisation who are a
global market leader, supplying injected molded, exterior trim parts into
some of the world's leading OEMs. The business is beginning to realise
it's growth potential, expanding its client base and new product
introduction across a balanced portfolio of clients, with expected
turnover being circa GBP150m by 2018.
The Client prides themselves on valuing and developing their people, as
well as offering opportunities to progress within the business. This
Programme Manager role is in addition to the existing resource and will
give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop programs from
pre-production, through the launch phase, up to SOP plus 90 days -
enabling the right person to take ownership of projects and work closely
with customers to maintain and develop relationships.
The role:
• Reporting into the Head of Engineering, the Programme Manager holds key
relationships, managing program teams throughout the pre-production and
launch phases of the projects
• Overseeing a challenging and fast-moving product development and
production programs for a variety of new and existing customers
• Managing key internal and external stakeholders, developing
relationships and being the main point of contact for customers
• Creative problem solving, acting quickly and proactively, whist
adhering to the stage-gate program development process
The candidate:
• Automotive, Tier 1 background, (plastic moulding preferred)
• Excellent customer liaison, reporting and communication skills
• An influencer who will motivate and command respect of different
program teams
• Used to adhering to a stage-gate program process, whist having
commercial acumen and the ability to find creative solutions, for the
benefit of both the employer and customers
