Job Description:

Are you passionate about improving the health of Londoners, and tackling health inequalities? Can you effectively manage a team of people to deliver projects and programmes that make a difference? This is an exciting new, senior role in the GLA health team to lead on the delivery of a range of programmes that take forward the Mayor's commitments including child health in schools and early years, workplace health, and child obesity. As an experienced and enthusiastic manager and part of the senior management team, you will help the team build and develop relationships across the GLA and with a range of partners, focusing on delivery of better outcomes for Londoners. With attention to detail, you will help develop business processes across the team, generating solutions to problems and evaluating the effectiveness of what we do. The role includes opportunities to influence policy and strategy development in London, and significant learning and professional development for people looking to develop their career in health and social care, or social policy. This role will be based at City Hall This role is politically restricted' under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
