I am currently recruiting for a Technical Maintenance Planner / Administrator for our client site based in Theale, Reading.

Job Purpose: To provide the central planning and coordination function of all works to ensure maximum utilisation of sub-contracted resources, whilst minimising disruption to the customer and optimising the output of the facility. You will ensure that all auditable records and contract documentation are processed and maintained for all services provided in the facility.

Principal Accountabilities:

In coordination with the Data Centre Manager and Asset Manager, lead on all planning of resources to deliver the service, including pre-panned and reactive tasks, delivered through in-house, sub-contracted and third party resources ensuring all task are delivered on time, maximising efficiency and minimising disruption to the facility and in accordance with the service level requirements.

Ensure only authorised and qualified personnel are assigned to each task.

Gain and record actions and approvals for the plan, by liaison with facility stakeholders.

Ensure the accuracy and credibility of the service delivery plan

Ensure the CAFM system is fully maintained and updated at all times to provide an auditable record of all work.

Coordinate with supporting staff external to the facility to ensure that they are notified of works requirements in a timely manner and that their work is completed on time.

Ensure that personnel are issued with forward plans and works instructions and documentation required to complete tasks in accordance with the plan.

Undertake the processing and following up of work packages, through close liaison with management and supervisors to meet the requirements of the facility plan ensuring that records are closed out.

Ensuring reasons for waiving, rescheduling or deferring maintenance activities are valid and appropriately authorised.
