BS Social Care are a national recruitment agency that specialise in the recruitment of health and social care professionals. We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to provide care and support to clients with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions based in and around the Sunderland area.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health. You will follow person centred planning to enable the service users to live life as independently as possible.

You will provide support with day to day activity and general support in the community. You will use to positive language to build rapport with whom you are supporting and you will help them maintain relationships with families and friends.

We are looking for applicants who would like a varied job and job satisfaction whilst having the chance to make a difference in people`s live. You will need to have previous experience supporting vulnerable adults and a qualification in Health and Social Care would be advantageous.

Working in both residential and community settings providing care to clients with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health conditions.

- Working 37 hours a week (fixed term contracts available)

- £8 an hour
