Are you a design graduate (or soon to be graduate) looking to gain industry experience? Do you have great Revit and AutoCAD skills? If so, this is an amazing opportunity to take on an exciting contract with an innovative business. 

Who will I be working for? 

We are Modulek, a leading provider of modular buildings. Serving a broad client base, including the education, sports and leisure, health and MOD sectors, we use our industry-leading expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to our clients’ requirements. 

We’re now looking for a CAD Designer to join us on a three month summer work placement that has the potential to become a permanent position.

What will I be doing? 

As a CAD Designer, your summer placement will involve the following: 

- Helping the Design Team to produce drafts and detailed conceptual modular building designs 
- Supporting the design of floorplans and elevations with 3D visuals or renderings
- Maintaining a schedule of work 
- Increasing your knowledge of Modulek’s products and design process 
- Communicating with clients in a professional and friendly manner 

Sounds great! What do I need? 

- To be studying or have completed a degree level qualification in design or a similar subject, such as product design, industrial design or product design engineering 
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills 
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office
