We are a family of schools comprising Prior Park College (Bath), The Paragon Junior School (Bath) and Prior Park School Gibraltar, each providing a high achieving, co-educational, Catholic/Christian education. Our encouraging ethos nurtures pupils to become confident, capable, compassionate and independently-minded young people.

Following the departure of the current post holder, we are seeking an experienced, skilled and suitably qualified Estates Director who will continue to build on the excellent foundations that have been laid down by their predecessor.

Based at Prior Park College, the successful applicant will assist the Chief Operating Officer in overseeing the delivery of all non-teaching functions across all of our schools. He or she will be broadly responsible for areas such as Estates, Grounds, Maintenance, Transport, Security, Health and Safety and a wider aspect of other operational functions.    

Applicants should be qualified to degree level with extensive experience of operating within a listed building environment.  We are particularly interested in applications from chartered surveying professionals who can demonstrate empathy with the demands of educational enterprise. The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge and understanding of planning legislation. A proven track record of project management is highly desirable.

The post holder will be committed to collaborative working and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong but warm personal presence and demeanour. Diplomatic manner, flexibility and discretion are essential, as is the ability to prioritise, plan and organise work. The Estates Director will be a natural people manager.
