26.25 hrs p.w. (average) worked over 40 weeks
£16,290 - £17,791 p.a. (equivalent to £26,495 - £28,936 p.a. pro rata)
You’ll be working in one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions. We enjoy a global reputation for the quality of our teaching, our world class facilities and an enviable track record of graduate employment.
You will be a member of our Student Support Team which offers professional advice and support to our diverse HE student population on a wide range of issues/needs – personal (emotional and psychological), educational, health and welfare - which may inhibit their achievement or participation during their time with us. This includes specialist study skills support and counselling.
Your role will be to provide support for students with Specific Learning Difficulties, physical disabilities, health conditions, and ongoing mental health problems including initial assessments and producing and maintaining Student Support Documents for teaching staff.
The successful applicant will have experience of providing support to young people or adults with Specific Learning Difficulties and have a sound knowledge of disabilities (learning, physical and mental) together with a relevant Level 5 qualification.
