Job Role: HGV Mechanic
Location: Edinburgh
GBP28,500 + overtime available
Due to their continued success, my client, a national fleet hire company, is seeking a fully skilled HGV Mechanic to join their team.
The successful HGV Mechanic will work on a rotation of early and late shifts, with overtime readily available at an increased rate.
The newest HGV Mechanic to join this friendly and welcoming team will be required to:
• Fully inspect vehicles in the workshop, identifying any defects and correcting where necessary
• Undertake vehicle repairs when they arise
• Carry out pre-planned servicing and MOT preparations
The hours on offer for the successful HGV Mechanic are 06:00 - 15:00, and 12.30 to 21.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The rate on offer for this HGV Mechanic role is GBP28,500, with overtime available at time-and-a-half, in order to increase earnings.
In order to be considered for the role of HGV Mechanic, you will hold a full, industry recognised qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle Service, Maintenance and Repair), and a commercial driving license would be an advantage, although not essential.
