Banking NQ - Edinburgh

We have a great opportunity for a newly qualified Banking Lawyer to join our market-leading Banking team Edinburgh. As an associate in our team, you will have the chance to work on a variety of banking matters, including general corporate banking, leveraged and acquisition finance, real estate finance and structured finance, representing banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers. You will handle your own matters (with supervision) and assist the Partners and Managing Associates on more complex matters. As your career progresses with us, there may be opportunities for client secondments. We would like you to have strong academics, ideally with at least six months Banking and Finance experience during your training contract at a Scottish or leading national practice recognised for banking work. We would like you to have a willingness to learn and develop commercial awareness, good social skills and plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service. In addition to this you will need to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines.
