The Group As one of the firm's key areas of expertise, real estate is at the heart of Addleshaw Goddard. The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest, comprising a team in excess of 200. Within the Edinburgh office, the mainstream Real Estate team currently comprises of eight partners and over 20 other fee earners. The team place a high emphasis on their transactional expertise and are able to bring a commercial and business-oriented approach to a wide range of property matters. Our Requirements We are looking for to grow the team and therefore we are looking for a talented English or Dual Qualified Real Estate Lawyer to join us. You will work alongside our Partners on key matters and clients on a variety of commercial property work. The role will undertake a range of commercial property work including landlord and tenant, property management, sales and purchases. This is a high performing, cohesive and busy team with excellent prospects for career development. We have a strong reputation for providing lawyers with early levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment. Therefore anyone taking up this role can expect to have the opportunity to play a significant role in working for clients that are key to the Division and to the firm. Knowledge skills and experience Suitable candidates will have English Property experience whether they have qualified in England and Wales or are dual qualified however are wanting to focus on English Property matters. Candidates will have a good grounding in non-contentious commercial property and real estate matters. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills, a good understanding of real estate law and a willingness to learn and develop commercial awareness. Someone with good social skills, plenty of drive and enthusiasm will allow us to help us to provide an excellent client service. In addition to this you should be able to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines.
