Whatever the needs of the resident, our priority is to ensure they
maintain control, choice and dignity at all times. Our Support Workers
are highly valued by our residents.
We value our Support Workers as highly as our residents do. Joining our
dedicated team in our care home, you'll help with the day-to-day
practical things like dressing, bathing and hygiene, food and mobility,
but what makes you so special is the extra effort you go to. You
understand everything that contributes to a person's well-being and
quality of life, which is why you provide such good company for our
residents. It's why you get to know residents' friends and families. It's
why you care.
What we're looking for:
You can deliver an exceptional level of care and support to older people
with dementia and disabilities, and whilst it's preferable that you have
experience doing this, it's not essential. What is necessary is that
you're an excellent communicator. You're good at speaking and listening
and can build strong relationships with our residents and their families.
You can resolve problems, work in a safe and compliant manner, keep
records up-to-date and follow basic instructions to support our
residents' well-being and comfort. Of course, you can attend to their
personal care and physical needs, but you can also look further than
that. Always patient and flexible, you understand and respect the fact
that individuals have individual needs.
Full time (37.5 hours per week), part time and bank opportunities
available, nights and weekends. Flexible hours available.
You can find more details about the role and the person we are looking
for, through the role profile, which is available on our website.
If this sounds like the role for you, we look forward to hearing from
you!
