Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced lettings person to join a great firm on the Exeter outskirts to cover maternity leave with salary of around GBP20,000 pa OTE.

Due to a key member of staff going on maternity leave our client is looking for an enthusiastic Lettings Negotiator to work as part of their team in their Exeter outskirts office. You must have experience in this sector, and have a passion for property, good attention to detail and a friendly manner when dealing with clients, mostly on the phone, is essential.

The role will be responsible for the complete rental process from client acquisition, property take on, applicant management, tenancy management and property management.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent phone manner, be very well presented, confident and have good social and computer skills. Lettings agency experience essential.

You must also be personable, confident but professional when dealing with the public, have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic with a positive attitude. Must have common sense, personality, ability to problem solve, work well within a team and be methodical.

Whilst this is initially, temporary maternity cover of 8 months, the company believes in promoting internally and whilst this is only a temporary contract there is the possibility the role will become permanent or other permanent opportunities will appear. By joining this company you will be working in an expanding company so opportunities are excellent for the right candidates.

The working week will be 40 hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and some Saturday mornings (one in three with lieu time).

Salary in the region of GBP18,000 basic with OTE of around GBP20,000pa.
