Shelving Assistant 

Academic Unit/Department:      Library & Learning Services

Location: Newton Park and Sion Hill                                         

Line Manager: Senior Library Assistant (Collections)                    

Rate of Pay: £2,700 - £2,961 per annum, pro rata of £16,654 - £18,263 per annum                                                                                  

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part Time, 6 hours per week (to be split over Mondays and Fridays,     exact working pattern can be negotiated)

About the role

Shelving books and other library materials at our Newton Park and Sion Hill campuses, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the stock in correct order and providing a high quality service to both students and staff.

About you (requirements)

With previous experience of working with the public and excellent communication skills, you’ll also be reliable and flexible and pay close attention to detail.  Self-motivated and able to work well within a team, you will welcome change as our service responds to new opportunities.
