Long established local steel fabrication company is seeking a skilled steel fabricator. Must be fully converse in reading and understanding fabrication drawings and working within a workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will be required to fabricate and weld (MIG) various types of mild steel structural steelwork including staircases and balustrading. A reliable/flexible approach to fulfill the demands of our trade would be required. Some experience of site works (steel erection) would also be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
The ideal candidate must be:
- Experienced in structural steel fabrication
- MIG weld to a high standard and be able to provide certificates for the same
- Be competent in operating workshop machinery and overhead cranes
- Drive
- Be flexible to work on site (local) when required
