Peabody has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator – Better Care Fund to join the team based in Sevenoaks, Kent. You will be there on a full time, fixed term basis (until March 2019), and you will receive a competitive salary of £17686.50 per annum.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Home Improvement Agency Team, assisting with a wide variety of local initiatives based within Sevenoaks District Council. Providing administrative support in this busy and reactive environment, you should be highly organised, a strong team player and enjoy working with a diverse client base.

The Administrator role:

To provide administrative support to the Private Sector Housing Team based in Sevenoaks District Council. The role will be particularly supporting the administration of Disabled Facility Grants and other Better Care Fund grant assistance and initiatives including the Health & Housing Coordinators based within the acute hospitals, the Your Home One You Coordinators based within Edenbridge and Hextable GP Surgeries.

Skills and experience required of our Administrator:

- Experience of providing a service to clients
- Well organised with excellent time management skills, able to arrange and manage workload demands, determine priority tasks, meet tight deadlines and achieve goals~
- Demonstrable experience in a role which has required good admin skills, including keyboard, telephone, IT, Microsoft office applications and experience of working with a database
- Working to common goals as part of a team
- To understand the importance of a client centred service
- An understanding of grants available for clients within the Sevenoaks District
- Understanding the needs of our client group and the benefits of a flexible, outcome focussed and personalised support service
