Associate Assessor - Construction

The Skills People Group are the largest provider of funded and commercial training into the construction sector nationwide. We are currently recruiting for self-employed, contract assessors to deliver from Level two - Level six. This role will require the successful candidate to work in partnership with our business to ensure learner completion to the highest quality.

The role of construction assessor will encompass training, reviewing and monitoring learners within construction from Level two - six. Within this you will be required to maintain all learner and course related documentation. This will include maintenance of learner files and tracking relevant documents.

You will act as a personal tutor and mentor to groups of students and will be expected to work to a target of learner completions. This role will require you to assess workplace performance as well as candidate portfolio building.

In addition to the above you will be required to complete all required funding paper work to company standards.

The successful candidate will have;

* Vocational qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

* Experience of working in the Construction Industry

* Recognised NVQ Assessor Qualification e.g. A1 or D32,D22,TAQA.

* Experience assessing NVQs in Construction

* Experience of teaching/training in a workplace environment

* A valid DBS or willing to apply for a new one

* Full UK driving licence and use of own car

You will have as a minimum experience;

* Occupational history and competence within the industry

* Experience in assessment of EWPA NVQ's

* Minimum 12 months assessing experience
