We have a fantastic opportunity working in the public sector for an experienced ICT Technician.
Undertaking second-line support for ICT Services including installing, updating and configuring a range of standard and bespoke software applications.
Essential skills and experience:
Experience in creating, maintaining and updating hardware
Has used Microsoft active Directory Domain services to perform a range of standard maintenance tasks
Possesses a good standard of general education and a holder of a relevant further education qualification or National Vocational Qualification
Current light Vehicle driving licence
Has a sound understanding of local and wide area network infrastructure and protocols, including equipment and basic settings
Has awareness of Home office MG4 and specification and GD92 Mobilising Protocols
Undertaken the administration of Microsoft Server 2008/2012 roles and features and settings of NTFS and SharePoint user permissions
Previously supported high capacity mobile networks in an emergency services operational environment
Has worked with Hyper-V virtualisation and Virtual machine manager to perform simple maintenance tasks
