SENIOR HR ADVISER

Hours: 33.3 (0.9) hours per week or full time

Salary: £29,206 - £30,979 full time equivalent per annum (0.9 £26,285 - £27,881 actual) plus excellent benefits.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, proactive and motivated individual to join our high performing and dynamic Human Resources team.

We operate a Business Partner approach between our Senior HR Advisers and College leaders, and as an HR team, are seen as responsive, knowledgeable and solution-focussed. We are therefore looking for someone who can establish good working relationships quickly whilst managing a busy workload, often with conflicting priorities and add value.

Your main role will include providing support with recruitment and employee relations issues which could be complex, therefore sound previous experience in dealing with a variety of employee matters through to their successful completion is essential. You will also have up to date and accurate knowledge of employment legislation and practice, and be well-versed in advising leaders in accordance with relevant employment law.

For the right candidate there may also be the opportunity to undertake a particular cross college project as part of this role which would attract an additional £4,000 per annum but this is optional.

You will be CIPD qualified to Level 7 and will be able to demonstrate your ongoing continuous professional development.
