This is an opportunity to join an Independent B2B Telecoms provider based in Peterborough, which was established in 2009. They have since evolved into an Award winning, fully pledged Communications and Managed IT Provider with over 35 staff. They provide Managed IT, Business phone systems, VoIP solutions, Gigabit broadband, mobile airtime, Landlines, CCTV as well as Engineering Installation Services.

This role is Field Based and you will be involved with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of On Premise and Cloud Telephony Solutions and other Products within the company portfolio. This will be working on your own or as part of a small Installation Team dependent on the size of the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Commissioning of On Premise and Cloud Telephone Systems
- Pre-Installation Site Surveys
- Installation of Structured Cabling
- Provide end user training in operation of Phone system
- Assist Tech Desk with customer fault resolution / Provisioning
- Field installation of additional equipment
- Work with other key stake holders within the business on projects from time to time
- Out of hours Engineering cover on rota system
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 Years' Experience of Telephone System Installation and Maintenance.
- Experience of LG Ericsson Systems and associated software preferable.
- The ability to manage the on-site installation of Telephone System's (both on premise & cloud systems).
- Experience of working with IP Networking, Switches, Routers and SIP Trunks.
- Ability to communicate with people from a technical and non-technical background and provide effective basic training to users in operation of the telephone solution.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must hold a UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel throughout the UK and outside the UK if required.
- Some overnight stop out work, will be required from time to time.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of a variety of PBX/Cloud Systems, such as NEC, Avaya, Samsung & Panasonic & Gamma Horizon.
- Knowledge of LG Ericsson systems and associated software.
- Exposure to IT installations.

Hours:
- 40 hours per week with overtime when required.
Salary:
- GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 depending upon experience plus Overtime.
- 21 days annual holiday + 8 bank holidays.
- Pension with Employer contributions.
