Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for experienced Carpentry Multi Skilled Operative to join us in Caerphilly.

Within this role, you will carry out remedial work on various occupied and void properties carrying out anything from fitting skirting boards, hanging doors, door frames, small patch work plastering, plumbing, painting and decorating.  This is purely domestic maintenance; experience doing large installations will not be expected, though experience would be beneficial.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience in Carpentry along with previous working experience with a RSL or subcontractor to a RSL.

With comprehensive working knowledge of Schedules of Rates and appreciation of all trades, you will also have working knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements and the ability to work and manage workload to produce acceptable standards of work.

Although not essential, a City and Guilds in Carpentry would be beneficial.

Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence
